Be our guest at the opening ceremony, starting at 06.00 p.m. at hall 2. The grand opening is supported by the clarinet quartet Vivus. After the ceremony we would like to invite you to the get-together in the exhibition area with a cocktail bar, canapés and nice jazz music. The evening ends at 10.30 p.m.

Leipzig Zoo and Mirror Pavilion at the Old Congress Hall

Exclusive viewing of Leipzig’s World Famous Zoological Gardens!

Starting at 5.30 p.m. World Conference guests who have purchased a Social Evening ticket have the opportunity for an exclusive visit in the Leipzig Zoo. The Leipzig Zoo is famous for unique open-air African Savannah where zebras, giraffes and ostriches roam together next to the Kiwara Lodge. Watch the Elephants at the new Temple “Ganesha Mandir” or the stars of the zoo, the meerkats. At specificied points you’ll find friendly zoo staff who will be pleased to answer your questions.

At 7.00 pm the evening begins with a reception in the Mirror Pavilion. At 7.30 p. m. dinner is served in the atmosphere of old vaudeville. A distinctive highlight will be an evening programme with Chris Mason, showcasing the answers to prevalent scientific questions about regenerative medicine.  The evening ends with easy jazz music from the band Valentine B.
